• CALLING ON HOME SEWERS TO HELP HEALTHCARE WORKERS FIGHTING COVID-19

The lack of proper masks, gowns, and eyewear equipment is making it difficult for health workers to do their work fighting the novel coronavirus. In a recent New York Times article, medical workers said they were worried about how they can both fight the coronavirus without imperiling themselves, as well as their loved ones when they go back home.

If you are a home sewer, please consider helping my joining Hickey Freman Technical Vice President Jeffery Diduch in his effort to produce and deliver homemade gowns and masks to medical professionals in the greater Rochester, New York Area. Read about how you can help here

Anybody already own the Brisbane cords and moleskins that are on flash sale today and able to speak to the fit in comparison to S&M contemporary suit/wool trousers (not high rise)?

Cut on S&M chinos makes them a no go for me, and subsequently I've passed on the 5-pocket cords for that reason. Wondering if I would run into the same issue with these as well. Thanks in advance.

Further to Warren's comment, I'd like to formally issue a request(?) or challenge(?) to show me some footwear pairings with that neo cord suit. Looking for inspiration.

Go!

Cable knit sweater pictured here with the Angelio light brown and blue check. Both were solid buys, I definitely needed more sweaters and the Angelico wool is crazy soft. For reference, I'm 5'11/195, sweater is a large and sportcoat is a 42L. Haven't had the sleeves taken up yet.

Sweater hem not folded up so you can see the whole length.

Same fit as the wool trousers. I do not own the chinos, but from what I gather the dress pants offer a little more room. I took my usual size which requires ~1.5" reduction in the waist because I go up a size for the hip/thigh room.

No pics yet, but I wear mine with paraboots to keep it casual. I'm tempted to try some suede loafers but I don't want to look like a furry.

I'm going to opt to dress mine up. I will not wear it with paraboots.

Maybe suede loafers, coz texture is king.

Just want to gush over the moleskin pants on their sale day. Just picked up the navy and brown pairs from the tailors. They fit like a dream and are the most comfortable pants I’ve ever owned. I’m going to live in moleskin and corduroy the rest of the season - tweed and flannel are too itchy for my liking.

Does anyone have s pic of the chocolate brown cord jacket? I'm on the fence on this one just because I already own so much corduroy.
