Rick @spiermackay, any new custom shirt fabrics for F/W? I remember you mentioned flannel shirts — any updates on those perhaps?

@spiermackay any chance of the new Drago Medium Blue fabric being available for custom waistcoats? Potentially interested in making a 3 piece suit out of it.

Does anyone know if the VBC Flannel in the trouser MTO is woolen or worsted?

Fox flannel came through yesterday, only had time to snap a few pics in less-than-ideal lighting. This is actually my first experience with the Neapolitan cut – really loving how light and unstructured the shoulder is. And the Fox fabric is great, really nice and subtle pattern, just the way I like it.

It’s all class, V. You can’t even tell there’s a pattern till you get up close and then—wow. The fit straight off the peg is so clean on you. Your tailor won’t make any money off that jacket, poor bastard.

I would ask their customer support to confirm before buying, but what they told me is:

The VBC green flannel is worsted, the generic non-VBC "mid grey flannel" is worsted, and the rest of the VBC other than the houndstooth (which I didn't ask about) are woolen.

It’s dangerous wearing nice clothes sometimes. Coffee stain on my sweater on the first wear. A dry cleaning should get it out right? It’s a small stain but the sweater is brand new. I want it to be pristine. 2760FD11-6320-4B75-BDAE-BD60673FBAB9.jpeg

Was really hoping for a sale on sportcoats but it looks like we get 20% off suits!

A spot treatment should get that out. Let your dry cleaner know exactly where the stain is.

@spiermackay When buying a suit, is it possible to swap pants for a smaller size? For example, I believe that I need a size 40 jacket but would want to pair that with 32 pants.
