I think suede goes really well with flannels and tweed, as well as it goes with fresco and linen. So, all year for me.

This. I’m all about the importance of textural congruity, and this is exactly why I feel the nap of suede goes so well with the tweeds/flannels/moleskins/fuzzy fabrics of F/W

Just pulled the trigger on the gun check pre order. Saw it last night, decided to wait. Saw it this morning, decided to wait. Took a peek this afternoon, decided to wait some more. Still available in my size right before bed, so I suppose it was fate.

Now to figure out what ties to pair with it... I'll probably need to pick a couple up.

I was worried about suede in the winter and was about to get the brown but you all really sold me on that so a pair is en route to Raincouver now.

I'm planning on wearing suede boots on my trip to Vancouver. I spray them with Nano Protector (they are not super fine suede) so that should do the trick. :D
