Do you have experience with all these? I have the Japan Blue High Taper which I love in the top block, but I'm looking for something without such a severe taper as well. Any thoughts as to which of the ones mentioned above fit the same in terms of top block but have a straight leg?

The Blackhorse Lane NW1 and Momotaro Natural Taper are similar in the top block/rise harsh taper, look into those. The other mentioned either have higher rises or similar taper from my experience.

Did you hear about this Canadian company, Spier and MacKay? They even have an affiliate thread on SF.

Spier when sales aren't happening can get things done pretty quick! Put in an order last night and received shipping notification already.

Btw, on a more topical note, I finally decided to get a Brisbane Moss corduroy jacket since they went on sale. I'm a hopeless penny pincher, what can I say? It is soooo good. I held off on buying the trousers and making it a suit to see if that jacket would fit right. It fits really well so now the pants are on the way. If you have been holding back on this one I'd say take a chance and go for it. The soft feel of the Brisbane Moss cords is remarkable.

Oh hell. I just ordered the navy cord jacket last night, less the pants as well. Are you telling me I'll probably be adding the pants later as well?

I'm not gonna lie, I find that rise only slightly aggressive lol. The paunch and moose knuckle don't help his cause.

Looks like some new chinos just dropped in charcoal, navy, brown, and British khaki. Already snagged a pair of the navys and would have grabbed British khaki too if I hadn't just picked some up from Ledbury literally yesterday :(

I have the Navy and Olive from Boxing day. Are these different? Best chinos I ever put on so far.
