Pretty sure I don't think of Midwest grain salesman when I see Windsor knots but to each his own.

There’s only one way to tie a bow tie

FiH for long ties. Rarely I’ll do a half Windsor, but the only ties I do it on are ones that are longer and/or don’t dimple well with a FiH. But yeah, FiH 99% of the time.

Surprisingly, Target- it’s the 14oz selvedge they came out with a while back under their Goodfellow and Co brand. I’ve been really happy with the fit and fabric actually, I don’t regret the $30 I spent at all.

Also, shoes are the AE x Massdrop collab

Camelhair. Thank you, it’s pretty sweet.

I live in Houston, as close as we get to road salt is if I happen to be salty about something while driving. Even if we did, my garage is connected via tunnel to my office, so I can be inside all day.

How warm wearing are those compared to the brushed oxfords from a couple years ago?

I use tarrago nano protector on suede. Works well enough. If it gets dirty, then it's an easy brush off with a suede brush.

Stop this denim shirt nonsense, or I will tell my business associates in NYC about S&M.

That may be because you are a polite, nice guy and not a judgemental, insecure #menswear geek.

FCA518D0-36E2-447D-84E1-BE8B949B12A0.png Don’t ever use this knot. I once was at a steakhouse and the bartender had this knot. He made terrible martinis.

My favorite thing about this post is the "swag is for boys, class is for men" in the lower right corner.

I feel like the most Texan thing I could say right now would be something like, “You tell your NYC associates I will wear my denim shirts whenever the damn hell I want. I live in Texas.”

But seriously. I wear denim shirts often. Once spent an entire week wearing different denim shirts to work to see if anyone noticed. One person did.
