+1 for the heavier flannel. Will be working in Toronto and that can get hella cold, not to mention I run colder than any normal human.
Also +1 for clarksdb's suggestion for higher rises on trousers.

Wanted to give a shout out to the prompt delivery. Ordered two suits and trousers in one package night of Wed, Nov 25. Ordered a belt in a second package the same night with a message to ship together and hopefully refund shipping.

I wake up and the belt has already shipped by noon Thurs, Nov 26! My address was incorrect so it was sent back (woops...) but I was supposed to receive my belt in two days on Fri, Nov 27!

The larger order was shipped the day after as well but arrived yesterday on Nov. 30. Incredible shipping time considering the Black Friday rush!

Downside is that my request to ship together was missed as was my request for different sized suit trousers, likely a result of trying to ship things out ASAP to meet demand.

While I am no expert, the suits and trousers all look and feel very good. Really enjoy the collar construction and the lapel width. At 6'1", 175lbs, 18.5" shoulders, it's difficult to find anything "classic" that fits. Now if only you guys could just make high-rise+pleated the standard for odd trousers... Will try and get around to some pictures after the suit trousers ordeal is figured out and suits are tailored. Easily the best value I'll ever get at $300/suit. Keep up the good work!

What were your order numbers? Did you include the requests in the order or email after the order was placed? CS has been swamped with emails and is combing through them. Shipping just pulled and packed the orders as they came in.

Do the french cuff shirts sell well? I don't care for them. Just thought you'd like to know. I think a white french cuff shirt is the only one a man needs.

They sell well enough to run them in small batches. We sell a tonne of them in custom though.

    Rick,

You should bring in some cashmere sweaters.

    Signed,
    Everyone.

I believe the solid swatches were already previewed several pages back. I'd search through the images for them.

Rick, do you have any plans to add a burgundy belt to your collection? Been looking for a decent, affordable option and having the hardest time finding something that isn't absolute crap but won't cost me $80+

12952 and 12957. The request for trousers was made in the comments section of the order. The request for the belt shipping was in a separate email as I was a little rushed (thus explaining the incorrect address). Definitely understandable, I sent a second email today regarding the pants.

I'm sure for 90% of orders that was excellent. I was very impressed by the speed as well.

I love flannel trousers, and switch to them when the cooler fall days hit. However, as I'm inside for the majority of the time in an office that over-compensates for the weather outside, I'd probably be more comfortable in the mid-weight version. I'd imagine most people would be in a similar situation.

What kinds of colours might be available? I'd like to see a light grey and a light brown (along the lines of the "birch" colour BB offers in their flannels). As lighter colours work better with most sport coats/jackets, any lighter versions of colours outside of the usual greys and brown can be interesting, such as these from Sid Mashburn.

However, at your price point you probably want to stick with the very basics.

350 gsm is really not that heavy (especially vs 310) and will drape better IMHO.

One of the worst things I've ever read, please don't ever give people clothing advice.

Button cuffs in suits look like trash about %80 of the time unless the suit cuff is designed for them

I'd go mid weight as I tend to wear mine Fall, Winter, and Spring. That extra heat in the office might not be so fun, I'm wearing the cheapo LE ones and they are very warm. Speaking of LE, are yours 70% wool / %30 poly? Theirs run around $112 CAD and $50-$70 with sales codes

I agree with this sentiment. Don't know what Shad0wlife's problem is.

The flannel we are looking at is Italian Milled 100% Wool. A very high quality and very nice hand. Rugged but has a nice softness at the same time. This would essentially be piggy backing on the release of our Full Canvas program and in line with that customer looking for better quality, but still value driven. The closest we've seen anything similar would be through HY or Epaulet, both are over $180 USD ($240 CAD, not including duties/shipping, etc) for anything similar.

My opinion didn't jive with that of @Shad0w4life and he felt threatened and was very rude. It happens. Funny thing is, by looking at member's fit posts, the vast majority of this forum shares my opinion. That doesn't make me right or him wrong; it just is what it is.
