My credit card is still smoking from how quickly I yanked it out of my wallet.

I’ve wanted a DB camel overcoat for years but didn’t want to spend the $1,600-$3,500 I’ve seen them regularly retail for. $400 is a “don’t think, just order” purchase.

We honour price adjustments for purchases made within 7 days of an adjusted price in the form of a refund of the difference. We offer a store credit for the difference up to 14 days of an adjusted price. After 14 days, price adjustments are not eligible.

We do not offer price adjustments on flash sale items."

yeah I got one also. Was still deciding between the camel and the rust herringbone, so this kind of decided for me.

Just remember the over coat is camel COLOR wool not camel hair; only the sport coat is.

I do love it, but I can't justify it with my other overcoat...my friend bought one and loves it though!

The plain toe uses the Weinheimer leather. You will see a pretty distinct difference in quality of leather. We just wanted to try the Portuguese to gauge the price sensitivity amongst the general public. You'd be surprised how much a difference $50 can make, especially when people don't know and don't care about the differences in leather.

yeah that's why it's not 2x the cost. Wool and Cashmere will have to do.

Wool/Cashmere is warmer than the equivalent Camel. So...better all around. Yay!

I know, actual camel hair wasn’t a requirement for me- the styling and color were the things I was focused on. I’m actually pretty interested to see this merino/cashmere blend in person.

The only thing I wish this coat had is cuffs on the sleeves, but I get why it wasn’t included and agree with the logic.

To be fair, I do already have a Gloverall in the same color, but I’m looking at this as my formal option and the Gloverall as my casual option.

2x at the minimum- Brooks and RL are 3x, and I’ve only seen it go up from there. The difference in material isn’t worth that increase to me.

Psh, I’m in Houston and was still able to justify it lol.

I get cold easy, and the humidity always makes it feel worse. It’ll get less use than it would in Minnesota maybe, but I imagine it’ll still get plenty of wear.

I got this topcoat fellas and am crazy about it. It runs a bit longer than the single breasted (which I had but returned) and appears to have a bit more shape to it also. But still that beautiful and soft wool-cash blend. I think it might be the best thing I've bought from S&M in the past two years--and that is saying something, as I've been lucky to acquire a number of beautiful pieces.

Went in to buy 3 shirts. Left with 3 shirts, 3 turtle necks, 1 cardigan, 1 tie and 1 dress trousers.

Thanks again to Mike in the Mississauga store who always hooks it up and has the patience of a saint.

Just got a chance to wear the Brisbane Moss Dark Olive Cord jacket to work since it's been at the tailor's, and I'm in love. It took some swaying from you guys to not view Corduroy as a pointdexter/70's style of fabric, but damn did you guys really pull it off. Already received a lot of compliments on it at the office.

I'm really in love with the 40R Contemporary fit, and while I do need the sides taken in on my other two Contemporary S&M jackets (as well as the vents), the end product feels near bespoke compared to the Slim jacket line, which does NOT fit well if you've got developed lats/broader shoulders.

Waiting on the Navy Donegal and Brown Tweeds to be completed...too much anticipation.

    Hey @spiermackay
I asked for a size exchange for the jacket I ordered on pre-order and they said they updated it in the system but when I got the shipping confirmation today it showed the wrong size

The system won't change the displayed order size. We can't even manually change it. But if you spoke to someone, they will physically swap the jacket.
