We've had several pairs of Epault trousers pass through here for alteration. Construction is very similar. They use a wider variety of fabrics than we do at the moment OTR. We haven't seen any of their basic Grays or Navy or foundation style of trousers, so cannot comment on that. We don't have the tweeds or flannels, etc that would work as a direct comparison.

Looks good - curious to see other fabrics! But wait, is that a contrast stich on the lapel?

It is. Customer requested it. They want what they want.

Saw this, and the grey flannel herringbone in person. These are excellent, shoulder is perfect, like a sweater.

Next coat is a custom from Rick 100%.

I really loathe selfies but I wanted to show the collar roll on the OTR shirts.

Owning plenty of both I can attest to this. Construction is very good. Epaulet fabrics are nicer than the old pair of SM s120s I have, but also more than double the price. Certainly a place for both in my wardrobe.

What's with the apostrophe in want? Is that a Canadian thing?

When your mind types on autopilot that's what happens. It would be cool if it was a Canadian thing. It's metric spelling. [IMG]

How I wish the Model 2 sport coats on sale for 249$ were available in 48! I'd buy them in a heart beat (at least 3 of them).

Which brings me to the point: we need to see more of S&M's suits and sport coats in real life action. There haven't been a lot of photos around, except for those "still on hanger".

This is true. I've only bought shirts from them. Part of what is holding me back is that I can't see any "action shots" of the suits. Is there any instagram or anything?

We have to remember that we live in SF and everyone else lives in the real world. I think every guy at my office wears checked shirts. Perhaps that's part of the reason I do not wear them? [IMG]

Hold on...what grey flannel herringbone? I may be looking for something like this!

BTW - how much did that custom jacket cost?
