Check shirts? They sell like crazy. We're not the only ones. Have a look at someone like Ledbury. They sell tons of checks.

Just a side note, the brushing on this group is not as heavy as we did in the past, its very light.

I was really hoping for the return of the classic fit, particularly for the OCBDs. Any ETA for any classic fit shirts.

The next lot of OCBD, which is actually under production right now will have Classics. As will Solid whites, blues and a spattering of other CBD styles.

These should start rolling out in the next 30-45 days.

    +1

I think tattersall shirts are awesome and I am 32, I think these new ones are even better since they look to be done up in an oxford fabric rather than a poplin. The oxford tattersalls and gingham really gives me a Ralph Lauren vibe.

Was in store today and picked up these 2 OTR shirts

The fit is bang on and almost perfect. I say almost perfect because I like my clothes to be pretty form (tight) fitting. For 99% of guys this wouldn't be an issue.

I really like the collar roll as well. When I get them washed I will take some fit pictures. Great value at $48

In future I'll be picking up more as my wardrobe doesn't have enough casual attire, and I probably wear a suit 2-3 times a year

    Well done Spier and Mackay

I picked up the navy birchmount gingham as well along with the soft washed chambray. I think both will be a good casual shirts.

What are your thoughts on the first button? Do you find it too high? Personally Im not a picky person. I haven't worn it fully so I'll see if it bothers me much

If you recall an earlier discussion in this thread we moved the first button up along with the rest of the buttons so most guys can keep the first button undone while the 2nd button is up high enough to not show too much chest.

I haven't received them yet. Probably sometime next week. However, I do have other dress shirts that has the higher first button but those shirts are for wearing with tie so it is a non-issue. I think it will work to unbutton the first button for these button downs like Rick suggested.

I'm torn with the new/higher button positioning.

I think I do like keeping the top button undone and having a higher second button, but the side of the shirt without the placket seems to droop down. Maybe some support is needed?

Also, nice selection of new shirts. Do the grey and white oxfords have a button on the pocket? From the pictures it looks like the navy soft casual chambray might.

You didn't buy a third for that bundle pricing?!

I think the new button position will work well for me since I normally wear my casual shirts with the first two buttons undone, the new positioning should hit a nice sweet spot imo.

IMO it does. I usually wear both undone and have several shirts with this button placement.
