I honestly like the v3, it personally fits me well and it's really not a serious problem. I even purchased two more recently. This happens often with such a natural shoulder on a suit and I think you're taking my comment as something much more exaggerated; probably because I chose the wrong choice of word by saying "issue."

Still here just two examples that came to mind from members who posted pictures. As mentioned by @dluce76 it doesn't look like a typical divot, just excess fabric. It's not even all that noticeable.

You know, I'm wearing a belt today...

Fuck belts. Braces are the way to go forever.

Quick shots for reference. This is the Guabello - Bright Navy 130’s - Neapolitan Cut - Contemporary Fit - Size 42L.

It obviously has not yet been taken to the tailor or even cut the basting threads, but it should be a good representation of the shoulder fit. It’s a reasonable representation of the color as well.

Are the oxfords on the site still using the brushed Oxford fabric?

They’re *less* brushed. I still wouldn’t pick them for 9 hours outside in summer daytime in the US south but they breathe more than the brushed models do.

That fits you really well, but something is off with those lapels. Maybe it's just the low camera angle, or perhaps the long sizes have a different buttoning point. But your lapels appear to have almost the roll of a hard 3-button. Compare to another member's recent photos of the same suit:

His shows more elongated lapels and a true 3r2 button. Just wondering if it's the camera angle or an idiosyncrasy of the particular jacket you received, @Patrick R . It might seem like nitpicking, but that higher lapel roll would bother me. Really changes the overall look of the jacket, and takes away volume from the lapels, which are supposed to be large(ish) on the Neapolitans.

I see exactly what you're saying. I was playing around with it before I took the shots, including buttoning it at the top button to see how it looked. The canvas is very soft and the roll will settle right back to the second button if I button it and wear it around for a bit. You shouldn't be worried about it one bit.

Ah, well that would explain it. Thanks for the reassurance. Looking forward to ordering the charcoal sharkskin Neapolitan v3 suit. Just working out with Rick the particulars of having their in-house tailor remove belt loops and add side adjusters to the pants.

Rick, would love to see a future iteration of the Neapolitan suit in a rich, dark brown like the fellow on the far left. Just a suggestion for f/w, if it's not too late.

The tobacco Neapolitan was also done up in v1. I love the brown vbc from last season.
