I have 3 solid greys coming for fall. One is a lighter grey, but doesn't have the "hatch"effect seen on the above. Might just work for you. Really great shade. I have to hunt down the swatch and take a pic. I would say, save your money, they are 2 months away.

Medium/dark brown herringbone or tweed, navy windowpane (that one above is beautiful!), and a gun check would be ideal.

Please, please, please bring in long sizes!

Just ordered a custom shirt, excited to see how it turns out, been looking for an alternative from ModernTailor for a while, since their shipping prices are absurd and fabric quality is pretty garbage. Noticed the slim-fit ready-to-wears are pretty close to what I get custom-wise (with the exception of a couple inches through the waist).

Do you have an approximate on what the bicep/half-hip/armhole is on the ready-to-wear slim fits for a 16"?

This is great. One suggestion would be to move the lapel notches back to a more classic position. This Isaia almost has them behind the head.

Bicep is 16 1/2", 6" down from shoulder
Armhole is: 21.5 around the curve.
    Half Hip is: 21.5"

    Hope this helps

    Rick

The blue and green look nice in these pictures. Any more information about the tweed (origins, weight, durability, etc.)?

Most of the samples look a bit too flashy for my taste - it's the two tone nature of it, I think; the contrast is too high, almost gimmicky. The blue and green (3 and 5) appear more muted but it's hard to tell...

Any response on the possibility of a synthetic or two for custom?

The more I think about it the more in I would be on a true navy Donegal. These are okay looking, how do they feel Rick?
