    Fabric looks great. Ideal hopsack. Thanks for sharing.

    As an aside, do you normally use the pockets on a jacket? I thought that messed up the lines/shape, and hip pockets were aesthetic only.

    Long sizes sport coats please. (Trying to build some demand for it.)

    I have recommended a couple people to you, but they both need long sizes.

    Love this look. Is this shirt one of their new OTR dress shirts or is it MTM casual you ordered?

    Usually just for phones and a wallet but I need to carry around a notepad and papers at this work location and sometimes I just get tired of holding everything in my hands.

    Just wanted to chime in on S&M now that I've been there multiple times and have a decent amount of their product

    I now have 6 mtm dress shirts from them as well as 2 suits otr. Can't complain about the quality and cost and they all fit nicely

    When you go in for the first time for measurements, the client service is exceptional as they ensure all the measurements are correct and are very patient with all your questions.

    I find in subsequent visits, sometimes they were not as friendly but that could be because they are having a bad day / too busy / tired.

    It's not something that will prevent me from coming back or other customers as long as the quality is still there, but I do think that S&M should keep customer service in mind going forward, especially if they open a store downtown Toronto.

    Sorry about that. For us, customer service is equally as important as the products we make. Who was helping you? Sorry, could you PM and let me know what the issue was.

    Thanks.

    @spiermackay,

    The new FW15 OTR suit fabrics look awesome Rick. All three in the second picture are right up my alley.

    Do you have any sneak peeks for us on the FW15 OTR trouser or sportcoat fabrics? Will the OTR trousers continue to be the same fabrics as the suits, or do you have additional fabrics lined up for the trousers specifically?

    Ha. It looks like a folded pocket square - out of paper. I thought you were starting a new trend.

    Glad you like them! Don't have the swatches yet, but we will have trousers in non-suit fabrics as well. Those should roll out in Sept/Oct.

    A light grey flannel or tweed would be great!

    Got my order and tried them on quick at work, I think I can make the Madras fit because they are smaller to begin with but the Linen shirt is just too big. These are a 16 Slim and going down to a 15 1/2 might be perfect but the sleeves will be much too short. Might have to send the Linen back or risk a warm wash and dry to shrink it up and hope for the best.
