After pushing management for special recognition for a specific and very profitable non-core initiative led in 2010, and with other initiatives pending that i can pursue, I was tasked with presenting a case for developing a special project incentive model for the company.
I've pretty much laid one out but interested in soliticing feedback from others on here and possibly being connected to models that are out there in the F500 world that i can reference for third party validation.
Can any of you share models that you use in your workplace or that you are familiar with that have overviews available on-line?
In a nutshell... We/I have our core duties but identify interesting opportunities that should be seized in the normal course of business. With no incremental incentive to chase these down they may otherwise go unrealized... the model needs to reward individuals for stretching beyond their core duties, taking advantage of the identified opportunities without dropping the core stuff.
all feedback appreciated.
