which other brands have good resale value?
Alden Shell, EG and GG?

edit: assuming the popular model, if you got some weirdo grey patina then burnish toebox in blue perhaps not...

Yeah, agree with above and I'll add that I was able to move a pair of Lobbs at a minimal hit.

It's all a bit relative too, because it's not like shoes really retain much value as they wear.

yup, the discount between new and nearly new is worse than cars for sure...

I don't own any JL, but I personally have not seen JL done as well as say GG or the popular EG

So I was a mourn and accidentally ordered almost the same identical pair of shoes from two different companies. The second pair arrived today, and I realized my mistake. Because of this I need to sell one of these. Asking $400. These are MTO and not available in stock on the website.

Basically brand new pair of TLB Mallorca Burgundy Vegano size Uk 9.5 F. Comes with Shoe trees ($55) and toe plates ($55). Unbeatable value. Feel free to ask questions.

New Carmina snuff suede string loafer in size UK 8.5 uatem last 250€ + shipping. I scratched the sole a bit and tried to make it better by wiping with a wet paper but it made it worse. Didn't know sole was painted after first wear it wont be noticeable.

New Tlb mallorca faux wingtip Size: 8.5

Last: Oliver
Sole: leather
Price: 260€+ shipping

Is the utem lined or unlined? Are the loafers worn?

I feel like Magnanni should be in the Spanish Shoe Maker conversation... no? They seem to have decent resale value if you get them at a decent price to start.
