I just picked up a Southern Tide polo shirt. I think quality is slightly superior to RL and Lacoste and the fit is a bit more trim than the others.

I am not familiar with the other brands.

Southern Tide is fantastic, cant really comment on Southern Marsh though. The Southern Tide polos are really great, great quality, and a slightly more trim cut. I haven't owned a bad product from Southern Tide. Their sport shirts are quite nice as well.

Like all of their stuff. Southern tide is particularly nice, but I find all of their garments tend to run slightly baggy. I prefer Vineyard Vines though

Been looking at the southern tide polos... like the construction but unsure about the embroidered tuna (skipjack) logo.... wish more companies would do a plain or tone on tone logo for polos... do like the shirts though.

I have some Southern Tide polos and dress shirts. The quality is quite nice. I particularly like the polos as they have 3% stretch in the material. They run a bit more snug than Land's End regular cut, Polo, etc., but since the material has some give, they fit well. I really like the Southern Tide seersucker polos. The Southern Tide dress shirts run more true to size. The material is great and irons like some of the best dress shirts I have.

My local menswear store carries Southern Marsh also. I have not purchased one, but I have looked at them. They don't seem to quite as nice as Southern Tide. They are more on the Lands End level. But they are cheaper than Southern Tide.

My local menswear store also carries Southern Proper. I would place them between Southern Marsh and Southern Tide.

I don't have any experience with Southern Point.

Southern smash is going down the drain, in the south. People just are not buying it like the southern tide and vineyard vines. Southern proper is another great brand if your into this type of clothing
