I have gone up and down the net looking for black silk pique fabric from which to make a tuxedo? Does anyone have any suggestions on where to go?

Thanks.

I honestly don't mean to be a humbug, but why would you want to make a tux from silk? It would be hotter than wool and wouldn't last as long. Or do you mean silk for the facings?

I don't know about pique but Dupioni is a classic choice for a DJ. Try Fishmans. Call them because only a fraction of their inventory is on the site.

I would contact Beckenstein. They represent Scabal. Sound like the over the top sort of Fabric that they might have. It might be frightfully expensive.

Ask for Jon 212 475-6666
