sourcing exotic silk linings ... in NYC

Having some suits made up and I'd like to source some unique linings for them.

Substantial oriental silks, printed, maybe even jacquard is in order. It has to be light enough like the lining of a suit and not too unusual in weave that it would cause some forseeable problem for the cutter or the makers.

where can I find a good resource in NYC?

PS don't recommend eastern silk. I'm looking for a higher price point.

also good would be someone who can print silk. Maybe with a monogram or text of any sort.

looks like this is my standby. I can have them make anything ...

I'd also like suggestions for companies that have a specialty of printed silks.

also kimono and obi silk companies might be good resources ...

better off using their silk as it is PFP "Prepared for printing"

otherwise B & J, Mood, rosen and Chadick.
just remember silk is hot and retains odors.

I wish I hadn't seen this.

Custom printed jacket lining.

Want.

Kimono and obi silks are going to be very expensive and not the correct weight.
Just go to the three better fabric stores listed.
or go to the printer
wholesale silk houses are not going to to sell you three yards of especially printed silk except the high priced digital printers.

you can check Bobrick on

but this is to the trade only
