Can anybody recommend a source of leather for patching a casual outerwear tweed jacket? (If color matters, I'm looking for a medium-to-dark brown.)

I'm patching the jacket's shoulders, so unlike elbow patches I don't think there's anything already cut. I already struck out with my local leatherworker. Thank you!

It doesn't look like there are any Tandy Leather stores in West Virginia, but you can purchase leather from their website. If you have the chance to visit one of the stores, they're pretty cool. I see there is one outside of Pittsburgh.

In a pinch, you might be able to find a decent material by checking thrift stores for leather/suede jackets.

^ Thank you, Bromley! Tandy looks perfect, and finding something at thrift is a creative idea I hadn't considered. Thanks again!
