I would like to start wearing heavyish cream flannel pants with navy and brown cashmere jackets in the colder months but have no idea where I could find any.
Polo used to do them years ago, but don't know about now. Can anyone help?

Paul Stuart will almost assuredly have them. Give them a call.

Not that I have been actively looking but I have been through several fabric books lately and can't recall seeing cream-colored flannel. I have seen cream/light colored moleskin if that would do. I believe John Hardy among others have such material.

Because I prefer the drape of flannel

Polo still do them, at least they did last year when I picked up a pair.

I recently flipped through some books looking for this as well and did not find anything in wool. I recall a Scabal book that had a cotton or cotton blend cream flannel at something like 12 ounces. It was nice.

Holland & Sherry Viceroy Woollen Flannels Book # HS517 cloth # 757800, 17/18 ounces
This is an off white

H&S Victory Flannels Bk# HS321 Cloth # 772040, 11 ounce, very light beige, but could work

I recall Dormeuil having more than one shade in a flannel book that I can not locate. If I do find it I will post the name & number.

Chris, Viceroy is the 140s and mink and Victory is 100s with cashmere, correct?

I have a suit from whichever book has the 11 ounce 100s with cashmere, and it wears so warm that I cannot imagine what 17/18 would feel like.

Viceroy is all wool. The cloth I referenced is a twill in the back of the book which is a different range of cloth than the Viceroy Flannels.

Victory is 140's wool , cashmere and silver mink. I have not experienced the overheating issue but everyone has different thermostats. Reach deep down to your "inner Sator",
a derivitive of your "inner sanctum"

I don't think Viceroy is all wool. At least, mine is not. I remember two "V" books, the one my suit came from and the other one. Mine is 95% 100s wool and 5% cashmere.

As to the heat, what can I say? I generally have decent tolerance for heavy cloth in winter, but that fabric is just an incredibly effective insulator.

You are correct, the first few in the Viceroy book have 5% cashmere.
