Are you guys sure Donald Trump buys his suits off the rack from Brioni? They look MTM to me.

In my wife's issue of Vogue this month there is an ad for Jones New York featuring all the contestants from the current Apprentice series and Donald Trump modeling clothing from that company, including Trump.

It wouldn't surprise me if he has signed some sort of endorsement deal to wear that brand now.

    Jones New York?

And Trump advertising in that sort of thing?

I also recall his Visa card TV ads.

how exactly would a suit "look" MTM to you? If you mean by fit, his suits clearly dont fit him well, but thats a reflection of the final tailoring as much as it is with whether they are RTW or MTM.

In fact, if I look through my own suits, I have a few RTW suits that fit me better than any MTM ive ever gotten. Some people have ideal bodies for certain sizes and brands. Im lucky enough to be able to put on a 40L Blue Label Polo suit and the jacket fits me so well that they literally dont have to touch it. The tailor at the Madison Ave. store thought I was either the fit model for Polo the first time he met me or that I should be the fit model for them. My point being that some RTW suits fit tremendously, so I cant see how someones suit ever "looks" MTM. Additionally, a very expensive MTM suit can basically be ruined by the customer asking for sleeves that are too long, etc, rendering it looking like a $100 special from the Mens Warehouse.
