sorry...another lobb q: 7000 vs. 8000 last

ok, simple yes or no from you guys knowledgeable about Lobb lasts....I wear size X in Lobb 7000 last, from prestige line. Can i wear that same size on the 8000 last prestige line? man, i sure hope so, cause i found a damned fine pair i want.

I think the same size will be fine, unless you have no room to give in the 7000, which is a bit larger.

thanks-- the shoes on the 7000 last fit pretty well, but i guess there is some room, sounds like the 8000 last in same size might work, based on your reply. hopefully, the instep/ closure of the "throat" will be similar to my other prestige shoes, which close completely when laced.

My foot is size 11, 11 1/4. Mostly in english shoes I wear size 9 1/2. JL 7000 last 9 1/2. 8000 last I just purchased size 10 perfect fit.CJ 348 last 9 1/2.EG888 tight 10 or a more comfortable 10 1/2.

Slightly off-topic, but does anyone know how the 1105 last compares to both the 7000 and 8000 lasts?

hmmm....7000 is roomier, but would an 8000 last shoe fit me.....I wear a size 44 shoe/ size 10.5 American, so the size 9.5E Lobbs in the 7000 last are comfortable, and I guess "roomy." I'm thinking the 9.5E on the 8000 last is a slightly trimmer fitting 44/ 10.5, but if i order a 10E it will be closer to 44.5/ closer to a size 11USA

damn, this is why it's hard to order a pair of shoes online! Once you find a last that you like, it's difficult to try another.
