1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Non soporificness aside, I pretty much don't like any of those Marinellas.

I don't think Kaplan is trolling, Louis. He never trolls (and he's right about the ties...).

There are a handful that I like, but I don't like most of them. I've never been a big fan of their prints, but they make much better ones than these.

I'd say most of my regulars would fit into the soporific category...

The lighter colors and micro patterns induce a nice, light catnap rather than the full slumber of a dark tie. Veddy nice.

Wait! What's up with the giant polka dot tie? [IMG]

who makes your grenadines? you have a conspicuous absence of cashmere and raw silk ties though...

The giant dot tie is a Paul Smith, I think the only pre-SF tie that I still have. I think I wear it once every couple of months after one of my staff asked if I have any non-conservative ties.
Grenadines are all Sam Hober. I think there are four Cashmeres there (all Panta) and a couple wool/ linen. You're right about the raw silk though, now I have to go shopping again... Who makes the best raw silk, Ed Morel? Hober?
