1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Madder is for tweed and flannel.

So, if you have San Francisco summers, madder can still work in the summer.

I think this can be bent sometimes. There are some madders that are nice with worsteds.

Wsheeewww, I wasn't sure but I'm relieved you chimed in on the subject. I would think the scale of certain motifs and those madders that lack the smudge appearance are suitable.

^ Nice tie, jrd. Very happy. The colour is much deeper and more vivid than I expected, and it's beautifully made. I'll do a proper fit pic (with a different shirt) another time, but I had to try it on yesterday: [IMG]
Can I ask what shirt that is? Really dig the textured look.

    You mean Vox and Fred?

Why the heck doesn't RLPL make more grenadines?

    ^ I don't know but they should.

Anyway, soporific pink tie alert. Can pink linen be soporific? Anyway, just scooped this Drakes joint up at Barney's San Francisco. No more pink linen but they had a kind of pale green linen as of two days ago. Also saw a safety orange grenadine that was way too bright, IMO. I went in looking for the striped shantung ties but didn't see any. The linen ties were $69. Not sure what the grenadines were.

triple post, and no, it's not soporific.

regarding the RL grenadine - stop buying RTW ties and go to samhober.com.

That tie on the right, the yellow one with the toes, doesn't seem very soporific to me.
