I think it looks fine. I think the issue you've addressed, aside from the shoulders (which appear too small) are iGent issues and can either be dealt with or left alone. Since it's free of fee, get them fixed. The coat looks nice enough.

I'm no expert on fit, but I really like the choices you made: fabric, colour, buttons, and the 'stylistic aspects' (the pockets turned out very nice). If you get the fit the way you want, I can imagine you'll wear this jacket quite often. Beautiful jacket.

Looks pretty good. Post clearer pics after the set of adjustments that you have discussed with your tailor.

Also, if you have a marker, I think that many of us would find it useful if you were to draw a windowpane pattern on your fabric. Teh StyleForvm is moving to a strict grid-based system of cut and fit evaluation.

I still find it difficult to believe that I basted a vertical thread, in line with the weave of the fabric, onto my jacket, and then proceeded to wear it in order to check this out. Looked pretty vertical to me.

Well, I am still on vacation, and I suppose such are the risks of being a part of SF.

I think it looks great. Only minor flaw are the shoulders that you've noted, but to be honest I dont know if I would even worry about it. Although as others have mentioned, since you've already paid for it you might as well have it fixed.

How much lining did you get?

on the plus side, its not very noticeable. the bump on the left shoulder should definitely be fixed.
