Yes, I'm a bit dissapointed as well.

I'll have the designer clean up the pattern so that only the relevant lines are there, and ask him to export as some kind of PDF. Should work!

What's the turnaround time? Would this be a 50% deposit or all up front? Potentially interested.

Chestnut Utah is the same Utah used by EG. If you Google Chesnut Utah EG then a lot of images will show up. I have a sample ready and can post a few pictures next week, but it's basically the same. EG finishes it with a heavy burnished toe which is something I don't always find appealing.

About 60 days from order confirmation. Transit takes a lot of time usually, and the factory closes around Christmas for 2 weeks. So I'd say end of January, especially since the leather is in the factory already. All up front is preferred.

That would work for me. I have a similarly colored grain Chelsea from Taft that is just too tight that it could replace. Should we say flat welt? antique or brown edge for the chelsea?

For the George split toe GMTO, should we not bevel or round the waist?

Added you in, we're getting close!

I'm thinking we should not bevel or round the waist, maybe do 270 welt and brown edge for it. Thoughts? @WilYa @whovertw. I think those specs work well and can be seen on a lot of the chestnut utah make ups from EG

I am flexible as long as it has 270 flat welt. Thanks a lot for putting this together.

Cool, if the others are ok let's do 270 flat welt, brown edge, no bevel or rounded waist. Should give us a similar vibe to this welt and make it quite a versatile chelsea. Updated the GMTO post.

BTW, this pic is also the chestnut utah if anyone is curious as to how it looks.

I was mistakenly under the impression that the Chelsea would be on far brown Utah, not chestnut. Therefore, I am out. Sorry gents

Seems to be a good choice. I'm happy go with those.
Does anyone know what option of color we have for lining leather? I am guessing we need to pick something.

I rounded up another guy via Instagram today for the suede split toe GMTO. Looks like we just need at least 2 more for each and we'd be ready to roll. I'll keep spreading the word gents so we can get these off the ground.

Sounds good. I’m a solid “in” whether we do it now, 6 months from now, or a year from now. I like the shoe, it fits my needs, and I’m happy to support Notch.
