This is interesting. I have only soft square last and round loast, they both fit the same.
For soft square I have size 8, which fits well. Suppose I need to put more flesh on my feet :)

Thanks , asking because the size I ordered in almond last was short length wise (and width wise), so even if I get round last I am thinking of going up to next size
One should not forget that
fit also depends on the type of shoe (boot, derby, oxford, loafer), the material (calf leather vs suede, or softer leathers like utah or lama), pattern (eg full brogue vs plain toe) and even sole (eg double leather feels different than single dainite). So even on the same last the same size may fit differently.

Maybe my experience with both lasts may help you.
For the contemporary almond last, I have 8.5. This fits well, also after multiple wears. Though I am tempted to try size 8 'someday', I don't have heel slip, floppy toes, etc, and wear this last in good health.
For the elegant round, I tried the 8.5 on one model, and the size 8 on another. Even the size 8 is too large to my taste. Compared to almond last, the round last is wider, and has more volume. In the same size, it is also longer.
Thanks for this info , even more reason why internet sizing is a crapshoot

Do you use Saphir Renovateur to condition your Utah Calf?
I actually like to use Bick 4 these days for conditioning and quick touch ups.It needed a bit more care this time around.

A lot of styles went in the blink of an eye! Thank you all for your continued support. I have never had to deal with that many orders at once, so bear with me while I ship out all of your shoes.

hahaha looks great. I always liked that model.

@Notch did we ever figure out if we could do a cordovan GMTO? I think of course a george split toe or that austerity in cordovan would be awesome.
