Great song, nearly destroyed by hipster reference/overplay.

I've been hearing the song the "The Curve of the Earth" by Matt Nathanson everywhere and it was driving me insane, but I heard some of this guy's other stuff on Pandora and he's really a pretty good guitar player. I don't know if that song in particular is something to write home about, but I would've written him off completely if I didn't hear a few of his other songs in passing.
