re: low rise -- are you guys talking to me? I have the 003's. The rise is higher than an RRDS. It's a mid-rise, certainly not a low-rise. The measures on BiG are probably accurate.

If you're thinking about getting them, here's my advice. Get them. The denim is wonderful, the white leather patch is bold. I'll say that that, in my opinion, they're not a dressy jean after all this wear -- I look forward to wearing them forever with t-shirts and button-downs but I don't like wearing them out because they've gotten so casual looking. But they are wonderful.

I'm debating whether I should get somets or pbj-005, those somets look awfully sweet though.

My 003's are a three-button rise. Maybe the pictures look lower than other jeans, but the rise really isn't low. It's a mid-rise, for sure -- check the BiG measures if you think otherwise. I'll try to get out some fit pics.

They are sanforized, so I might give them a hot wash when the time comes, but I'll probably give them a warm wash. I've lost weight since purchase and stretch, but they fit comfortably more than loose at the moment. However, the inseam is as perfect as it gets, so I really don't want that to change at all.

Ordered a pair of the 003 with the silver stitching (lame stitch) from BiG. We'll see what all the hype is about...

recieved my somet's yesterday. the fit is excellent with the back rise being maybe a tad too low.

however, the deal breaker for me is the "lame" stitching. I didn't realize the silver accent stitching would be sparkly. I feel like a fairy wearing them, hence, they'll be going back.

did you get the ones with that silvery star looking **** on the back pockets?

return those, but work to get your hands on a pair of the 003's with the plain back pockets. you will be a better man for it.

That might be the stitching holding the half lining in place.

If anyone is interested I have a brand new pair of the somet straights for trade/sale in a size 27 (30 " waist). Perfect, but I sized down 1 too much. pm me for more details if interested.
