    I adore both the ties, the 1940s watch and the Cartier lighter. Simply beautiful.

    I am most fond of this item. How large are either of the lighters? I presume too big to comfortably fit into a pocket?
    No, actually they're smaller than they would appear at about 2 1/4 inches and the Dunhill slightly larger at the top. They are in reality, quite pocket-sized although a bit hefty.

    It's a very nice simple design.

    Whats the maker on the english pocketwatch - that is stunning!

    The maker is not someone famous and appears to have been named G.Lowling. The thing keeps remarkably accurate time to about 1 minute.

    1930s Asprey crocodile with 9 carat gold monogram and trim wallet; a circa 1925 shagreen and sterling cigarette case. [​IMG] The quality of the skin is extremely high and entirely symmetrical. You couldn't find a higher quality skin on a new Hermes Birkin bag. The shagreen case has an interesting little inscription inside, presumably scrawled by some lover to his other: [​IMG]

    Haas Neveux 18kt pocket watch from late 19th century with a beautifully done blue enamel monogram and a woman's photo: [​IMG] [​IMG] [​IMG] The firms of Haas Neveux and C.H.Meylan were equals with Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, etc. during their existence; Haas Neveux closed during the Depression and C.H.Meylan closed after WWII. First edition of Henri Cartier-Bresson's The Decisive Moment with cover by Henri Matisse. [​IMG]
