Hey guys. I was lurking gq.com and saw them mention beach sweaters. The one they had displayed was a very light linen hoodie from NSF which they said was 50 bucks at barney's, but i couldn't find it on the site and the only site that did have it (revolve clothing) had it for 170. I don't really feel like paying 170 for a hoodie as light as that that i plan on wearing to beach parties. Any suggestions on where to look? I'm having terrible luck finding them. The closest i found were "hoodie tee's" by american eagle....no thanks. thanks for lookin at the thread guys. btw, this was the thickness of the hoodie i was thinking of. VERY thin

One hoodie that I actually enjoy, is a Lacoste one made out of pique polo material. Not exactly what you were looking for, I know, but it is nice.

Ever brand hoodies are made for SoCal weather and great for the beach. They have light and more traditional thicker hoodies with thermal inserts. They are normally around the $180 range but they are having a 40-60% off sale and you can usually find some on ebay as well. The materials they use is top-notch & butter soft. They run true to size with tailored fits. ever-us.com
