Like the Duke himself, many of these clothes strike me as too prissy. I found myself recalling the famous picture of the DOW in his windowpane suit in Vogue's Book of Houses, Gardens, People and I wanted to reach back across time and throttle the bastard. However, the corduroy shawl-collared dj is indeed sublime. And the tartan suit makes Vivienne Westwood look like an outright pilferer. I really like that suit and must admit I mourn the world it belongs too. Too bad these out-of-sight flights of fancy were among the earliest SR casualties.
