Disappointing to see Drake's made in Italy, but I've long lusted after a Moghul square. The wool-silk blend may push me over the edge.

Dare I ask your source?

Drakes and Neimans. I think that Will is carrying some, as is Ben Silver.

The Moghul patterns were also done some years ago in silk by Holland & Holland, and I have some of those also. They're nice if you can find them.

Will's price is $5 less than Neiman, with free shipping and no tax.

very nice.

idea: someone should make a series of pornographic mughal squares. some of you may know that a large number of mughal miniatures produced were very explicit. it would be fun to have a series with unspeakable acts taking place in the invisible, tucked in part of the square.

example below.

nominally NSFW, but sufficiently small and stylized that most people won't realize what they're looking at.

The Arabian imagery concerns me.

When will you be offering these on B&S? All kidding aside, these are beautiful. Could you explain the Kiton edges again? Thanks.

How do you feel about spending money on non-essential goods during the Covid-19 crisis?

  • I don't want to spend money at a time of economic uncertainty, even if I could afford it.

  • I feel compelled to spend to help small businesses that are struggling.

  • I reduced my budget for non-essential goods and I'm not spending at the moment.

  • Not much has changed for me and I'm still buying stuff I can't afford.
