What length did you shorten the sleeves to? Is there any material left to let out again?

Hey,

I'm 5'10", so i usually don't have to shorten them all that much

There's two inches of fabric underneath (3/4" exposed and the rest hiding under the lining). Not sure what the standard minimum is needed by a tailor to leave, but wanted you to have an idea.

As for the measurement, everyone seems to have their own method. Let me know what you'd prefer and I'll get it for you. Mine was usually done with the jacket hanging, starting from the top center of the shoulder/sleeve seam down the center of the sleeve hem (it comes out to roughly 25" inches most every time)

Thanks. I wear 35 inch sleeves on my dress shirts and typically leave my Teneros at the stock length; sounds like there is probably enough left behind to work with. I’m interested, let me think it over a bit.

This would be tremendously easier if eidos had been consistent in tailored sizing. The houndstooth is my only tenero, but I do have a 50 Ciro that hasn't been altered, so I compared it against a 50 NMWA that has ...... and fwiw, I shortened the NMWA 1.5" but it also has fabric left behind. Both the 50 NMWA and my 52 tenero are 23.5" measuring from seam to hem when the jacket is laid flat, folded in half.
