Beautiful unsold older stock Brunello Cucinelli Prince of Wales plaid in world's best 100% Cashmere. Stupendous handwork on this magnificent handmade masterpiece from the Sage of Solomeo. I imagine Brunello needs no introduction here- suffice it to say between 2008-2011, while the rest of us were hanging by our no longer weekly manicured fingernails, Cucinelli's business grew at a China-whoopin' 28% and this coat is a nice example why -and why we keep going back to him. The cut is somehow both modern and classic, the detail is awe-inspiring and the cloths, especially the cashmere, are breathtaking. Note the handsewn borders in the hem, sleeves, and around the pocket openings. The touch of the cashmere is soft and reassuringly strong. This jacket will make you this autumn's best -dressed fellow.
3 horn button closure
dual vents
cotton half-lining
