Pure Blue Japan PBJ XX-013 Jeans
Made in Japan
tag size: 30

Well worn with extensive high contrast fades. In terms of aging / evolution, the jeans are "peaking". The construction is still very strong everywhere; it's a small miracle how solid the jeans are considering the wear. There are no repairs and no need for repair before wearing. The crotch is totally solid with no thin spots and none of the stitching unraveling in that area. The hems are chainstitched with lots of beautiful roping but no major abrasion or any tearing at or along the hems. All of the pocket bags are clean and totally intact. Buttons, belt loops, and all rivets remain solid. Some of the lemon colored stitching along the bottom of the front pockets is unraveling. The knees are faded but not at all thin or anywhere close to becoming a hole. The jeans are clean and smell fine. This is a thick robust denim and the jeans have aged with grace and beauty. See photos - though the jeans look a lot more impressive in person that I was able to capture on camera.

Actual measurements approximated and given in inches with jeans laid flat....

waist: 15
inseam: 33 1/4
front rise: 9 1/4
rear rise: 13
thigh: 10 1/2
knee: 7 1/4
leg opening: 6 7/8

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
