This is a brand new pair of HOPE Field Boots in black, European size 42. Made in Italy for HOPE (Swedish shoemaker). Leather upper and sole.

These are new and unworn except to try them on. The only reason I am selling them is because they were too large. I had to size down and buy another pair from another retailer, and was unable to return these because they were a sale item. The leather is extremely supple and, assuming they fit you correctly, they are very comfortable to wear, even new. The distressing is minimal and consists mostly of wrinkling.

Sizing:
As far as sizing goes, I had to buy another pair in 41 because these were too big. For what it's worth, I wear a size 42 in Common Projects and size 9 in Converse Chucks.

How do these quality and fit compared to the likes of Guidi 995 or Dayton etc ?

@chiggah: I already replied to you by PM but just wanted to state here that I haven't handled Guidi or Dayton boots in person, so I can't comment on a comparison.

And someone else PMed me asking for insole/outsole measurements. This is what I came up with:

insole length = approximately 11 in. / 28 cm.

outsole length = approximately 12 in. / 30 cm.

outsole width at widest point in front (ball) = 4 in. / 10.2 cm.

outside width at widest point of heel = 2.8 in. / 7.2 cm.
