Alden shoes
Style #96963 (Classic penny loafers in natural chromexcel Horween leather - from Unionmade Goods)
Tag size: 11.5D
USA made
Actual measurements....
Length: 12 1/2"
Width: 4 3/8"
Basically, the perfect pair of loafers. Original leather soles (marked Alden), stacked heels, full leather lining, 270 degree welt, and made with natural chromexcel leather from the Horween Tannery in Chicago. As you know, this leather gets better and better looking the more it's worn. It's also tough and self oiling, so it requires very little care, just an occasionally brushing with a horsehair brush. I gave them a quick brush before taking the photos. You could give them a more thorough brushing and clear up a lot of the scuffs and marks if desired.
These were a half size large and so were always worn with socks. The interior leather lining is super clean. There is also a ton of life left on the original leather soles and they come with the original Alden shoe bags (I don't have the box and the shoe trees aren't included). Get yourself a deal - these cost nearly $600 after tax when purchased new at Unionmade Goods. Actually, I just checked their site and they don't seem to be carrying them anymore in this leather.
$215 shipped CONUS
Thanks for looking and let me know if you have any questions. Happy new year.
