Socks

I hate buying socks. I hate spending money on socks. However, I always find that I need socks. Navy, light grey, patterned, etc. What's a good source for cheap but decent socks that are good looking?

I ordered a couple of pairs but I never wear them because they're solid and extremely vibrant.

A certain set of Target socks would have fit what you're looking for but I believe they're no longer produced. They're not cheap, but I get Marcoliani.

Put This On had a sock-related thing a while back and I think at the end of it he recommended Gold Toe? or maybe it's gold.. dammit now i can't remember. Hold on let me find it. Here it is:

so it is gold toe after all, hooray memory. Perfect solution for decent socks that won't have you digging for quarters under the couch come lunchtime. I've had 'em, they work pretty nice. Though I'm sure if you want to pamper your feet, pantherellas and the marcolianis would probably be better. But yea. Worth a thought, the Gold Toes!

Edit: Pretty sure Target still stocks Gold Toe, but if not I've seen them at places like TJ Maxx, Ross, Marshalls, etc.
