I wear both, but my favorite length is about a 2/3's calf. The Nagrani I have from chorse hit me just right. If my trousers ever hiked up higher than they are I have problems other than my socks.

Although this is true that bare leg looks bad under a suit trouser, true mid calf socks shouldnt give you this problem. You might be thinking ankle or bobby socks.

Definitely OTC.

I have a lot of mid-calf that are great patterns that I love. I haven't found any mid-calf that will stay up.

I realize that some of you like sock garters. I don't. It's not a big deal with my non-OTC slip down my leg.

Good topic -- I'd love to see this turned into a poll.

+1 Cool patterned OTC's are awesome.

Slight nod to over the calf, but thickness & type of material is much more important to me. I need both thin & thick socks, and I usually pick the socks in the morning on that basis first, then color second, then run with whatever length I get.

actually I did not know that how comfortable OTC socks, wearing in the morning once and forget it no need lifting and arranging in daytime.
