1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I'd just like to see them stay near the rest of the Olympics. The resources are available in London, so I don't see why they'd have the players going all over. It'd be a slight to the players if they couldn't participate in some of the events like the opening ceremonies if they're away from London.

Liverpool - Roma was chippy tonight. It surprised me how intense the players were with one another: definitely not a normal friendly.

No Borini today. Flanagan and Spearing had a couple of exchanges with Roma players which stuck out. There were actually a couple of yellows given, but one was moreso for not heeding the ref's distance for a free kick.

If that were the case national taxes would not be used to pay for it as was originally declared by the Labour government.

They will still be able to attend the opening ceremony, I very much doubt there will be a match on tomorrow.

I was thinking about teams in the English leagues that have any affinity to apart from Leeds a while back.

    Wednesday
    Arsenal
    Everton
    Bradford
    Rotherham
    Wimbledon
    York

That was it except for non-league clubs.

I watched the tail end. Japan was really the aggressor the whole time. Should have been 2-0 at least.
