Saludos hasn't watch the same game than us...

Italy was better than England especially from the second half of the game..

England had chances but De Rossi and Balotelli missed two easy chances..

In the extra times , England couldn't get forward at all..

Even English supporters admitted that fact..

    Italy was the better team.

I still think England is mentally weak. I have the impression that their players have an aristocratic form of entitlement that assumes their place in football royalty. They don't seem hungry the way Italy is.

Football is massive in England and people tend to follow the PL..

It did bring a sense of entitlement..

    they don't have class, imo.

it's hard too understand why balotelli stayed on the field, particularly in this game.

Of course that's your opinion, you're Austrian. I'm not really sure how you think they don't have class, most tackles have been good and they haven't had many cards. You think they are arrogant in the press but that's any team but I won't start this again.

I think the coaching staff thought he would eventually score but clearly that didn't happen.

Too be fair ,Germany did play with Italy the most attractive football of all four..

Spain wasn't great against a poor French team and Portugal was playing the Czech republic..

A team doesn't have to win 5-0 to be considered very good, a win is a win. The first goal was poor defending and the second was a PK, get real. I still believe they haven't played their best football yet and I think the game against Italy will show if they really have the guts to win.

The only incident of "lacking class" from the German team that I saw was Ozil refusing to accept a Greek defender's hand up after a foul, and the bit of whining he did afterward. Petulant certainly, but I wouldn't go so far to call it a lack of class.

On a more serious note , you really do not find the German team talented?

It is difficult for us to understand neighbour rivalry...

It is the same all around the world...

I knew of the Dutch /German or Polish/German rivalries but I wasn't aware of the Austrian one..

In France ,we like to beat the Germans and the Italians but I do respect them especially when they play well..

From my experience, its simply defined by the individual and his/her interpretation. He thinks Germany is arrogant while I don't (I hold German and Canadian passports). German/Polish is a big one as well as German/Turkish (I personally dislike the Turkish culture). Each country perceives the other in different ways. Some though are more stubborn than others and will not give credit where credit is due.

Bigger countries tend to be more disliked than smaller ones due to military expeditions , invasions and so on..

Fritzl is a nice guy even if he is very stubborn and focused...

I love in England and my friends are essentially French , Dutch ,German and of course English..

With a bit of respect , rivalry is a great thing..
