Verratti's got a bright future. First time I've seen him play and he bossed that midfield.

Awesome way to end with the Rami goal and Zlatan red.

Really? I'm a huge fan of Bale's, but calling him third best in the world means he's better than two of Iniesta, Xavi, and Ronaldo. How do you figure?

I'm not sure he's the third best player in the Premier League. Yet.

^ i doubt anyone really believes that, hell i'm 50% sure dude is just trolling anyway

    *** 14 Matches Head To Head ***

    Jose - 5 wins
    Fergie - 3 wins
    Draws - 6

quite a record against the best long-serving manager. replacement or not (he'll probably flirt with the idea and at same time negotiate with PSG), this is as much about the game on the pitch as it is the tacticians on the sidelines. Hopefully Cronald doesn't get too emotional and focuses on demolishing the weakling defenders instead of crying tears of joy and nostalgia ....

    Bale is really good..

Strong, quick and skilled but he is not in the class of messi ,Ronaldo and so many others..

He is just a very good player who has the potential to be great if he goes to a better club.

I cannot believe the speed at which this game is being played. Having watched Madrid this season, it doesn't even look like the same team.

    Massive header by Ronaldo.

Dat header [IMG] Ozil had the 2-1 in his hands (legs). Should have been more selfish and shot.

what's amazing is that, while his standing jump kinda sucks, even taking 1 or 2 extra steps allows him to reach immense heights, i mean NBA-level leaps (sup castrol tests)

van persie has hit the bar mroe than anyone in history (he did it at the weekend too ...)

i guess his aim is *that* good

great game but clear advantage for united getting a 1-1 result is fantastic for them at the bernabeu..

Thought De Gea was player of the game. Lots of the English press are down on him but his shot stopping is world class. That save on Coentrao was breathtaking.

Ronaldo's goal was just typical Ronaldo. Thought Di Maria may have been Madrid's best player, though. Was surprised to see him (and Welbeck) subbed.

And WTF is with the referee blowing the whistle when one team is about to take a corner? Hate it when refs feel the need to be the focus.

    Messi - Ronaldo

    Bale

I can't think of a better player. Barca is a system, outside of the systems I doubt that Xavi is that great.

Anyway, sticking to my guns. If Bale played for Barca, you'd agree.

After reading this, I'm tending to agree with Shah's theory that you're trolling a little here. You can't seriously hold that Bale is better than Xavi, system or not.

Well, I suppose The Daily Mail also doesn't rate Xavi's abilities and influence, but I'm not sure that really supports your position.

Anyway, Bale's a fantastic player. Easily top ten in the Premier League.

    I enjoy Bale's vertical play.

But to say he's better than Iniesta is ludicrous. Let alone Xavi.

Also Rooney, RVP, Xabi Alonso, Ibra...

Iniesta, RVP, Xavi, Cesc, Özil, Ribery, Falcao, Ibra, Mata, Silva, Hazard... Bale still has nothing on these guys. Nowhere near 3rd best.
