    Seedorf is a beast.^^

Leave it to Madrid to go down to Espanyol early on. Mou, give us the décima and I'll forgive this horrible Liga showing.

I'm not totally sure on how this defense is so leaky. In theory, you have Sergio Ramos and Pepe, definitely two of the best CBs in the world right now. Coentrão is alright (Marcelo is better, no matter what the press says), and Arbeloa is a solid right back who grows on me more and more every game - a definite heads-down, get-it-done type of player. He's defensively sound, and more skillful than he gets credit for. Alonso has traditionally been great tactically, although he appears to be slowing up a bit as of late on the wrong side of 30. Perhaps Khedira isn't the type of enforcer necessary to clear up room for Xabi. Right now they're fielding Alonso and Khedira as DMs, w/ Modric above, and a trident three of Ronaldo, Callejón, and Özil. Ball movement is good but little penetration in the area.

We played like absolute shit. It really highlighted the importance of having a DM for us. I don't get why Rafa didn't play Mikel, but who really knows. Mata was shockingly terrible. Moses shouldn't have been starting in this game and Lampard looked like junk.

That being said, Corinthians was an absolute embarrassment to football. The constant diving and rolling around on the ground. One player did four complete rotations. Is that how Brazil football is?

I do enjoy Cahill's quote on his red card: "He lashed out with his arm and hit me in the face. Someone's smashed me in the face but I didn't roll around on the floor for five minutes holding my head. I got up, reacted and tapped him in the shin. He felt the need to go down, roll around on the floor for about five times holding his face. It probably is a red card but the reaction of the guy is totally out of order for what I did if you see the impact. It wouldn't have been enough to knock over my one-year-old daughter."

South American football is completely theatric. You see people fall and roll so many times you'd think they jumped out of a train.

I laugh at Chelsea, but you are right^^

I was really shocked at the drama queens in this game.

I thought the South Americans are really passionate about the game and then you see this crap.. Really disgraceful behaviour.

Is there any footage of the off-the-ball incident with Cahill?

And based on our performance today you should laugh.

They did not show the foul during the game and I haven't seen it online. However, that player had been rolling around most of the game. I wish the ref would have given cards for the horrible diving. Sadly he gave in to the rolling and gave a yellow card to David Luiz for a light/non-existent foul. Oh well, maybe in a few years we could win it.

I wonder if the ref saw the incident. If not, he shouldn't have given a red card..

After Messi's two goals today, I think he now has one more two-goal game than he has no goal games this year, which is absurd.

    90.

He's scored a brace in each of his last 6 games.

Watched a little bit of the Reading Arsenal match today. Pretty good response from Arsenal but I reckon fourth is the best they can aim for this season unless Chelsea take a steep dive.

Amazing Cazorla is just a bench player on the national squad. I'm sure he only hopes what happened to Fabergas will happen to him for the international fixtures.

It is a shame that Sir Leedsguy doesn't post here anymore --- would have been interesting to hear his take on the Chelsea Leeds game today. There is history there.

yay Chelsea avoid further humiliation 1-5.

It would be good to have Leeds play in the prem and revive all the old rivalries. Could be a long wait for that though......
