And his atrocious dive...
Agree, he looked pretty good. Gif below is exactly what Chelsea are hoping to see more of, including the finish by Nando
This however was a complete brain freeze. It looks like a tackle I would do after drinking a quart of gin. A well deserved red. Ivanovic is lucky that he did not break Kolarov's leg.
The funny thing is, if he goes down on his left side that's a great tackle. Oh well. Ivanovic is a lucky boy anyway, as he's not facing a ban.
Foot up and nearly two footed tackle..
Which is why I said if he went down on his left side... Reverse the image in your mind.
with lukaku loaned out, the closest chelsea have to an alternative for torres is danny sturidge and he's really a false 9 not an out and out striker. so unless something changes in the next two weeks, are they expecting torres to last and be worthwhile for the entire season ?
^ They do need a backup in case Torres is injured or needs rest due to fixture congestion. Chelsea are apparently not done buying, but there are so many baseless transfer rumors that you don't know what to think, except that nothing is done until it is announced on the club website.
The Lukaku loan is good for all parties.
Studs showing is a red card all day and night, what was he thinking!?
I remember something about Chelsea buying Hulk....
Can no one read? If he goes down on his left side, toes pointed as they should be, studs aren't showing.
Porto's relase fee 123 million euroos..
That would be fantastic if they could pull it off. He is a beast....
I want to say Pastore's was some outrageous number before PSG swooped. Figures mean nothing. If the right offer comes along, Hulk will go - especially with is recent comments after the silver medal, about needing a change, and feeling like he needs out.
Hulk will go when the combination of a team's offer and the amount of time left on his contract make selling Porto's best option.
