I was just going to post "where is romafan?". I agree De Rossi is going nowhere, he may say complimentary things about the Premier League but he strikes me as a one club man like Totti.

They must be putting a lot of money on the table ...

I am sure they are and maybe he is, he has said he would be tempted to play in the Premiership but my gut tells me he will stay.

It is hard to explain the level of loyalty Romans have with their club - can be a bit frightening to be honest...don't get me started with their north city rivals Lazio...Romans in general are nuts lets just leave it at that

Liverpool screwed themselves over paying that much for a flop. He won't want to move anywhere of lesser prestige, and will just sit his butt on that contract. You're seeing it w/ Kaká as well - Madrid inflated his wages so high he's not wanting to go anywhere else, necessitating a cut in pay.

He is holding the cards in his hands..

He can collect his massive wages or go on short term loan...

Going on loan might kickstart his career but will put him out of the Liverpool's starting XI for ever..

They might be waiting for a long time for a big club to pick him up..
