Yes yes... we shall see. Ain't 7 points up in the league for nothing, despite having dropped at home against y'all.

    True. It's 5.

Fucking bummed, can't see the match. Got to go to a student party. Hopefully I can avoid the results and download the match somewhere on thursday.

It's really 2 points because of the guarantee of Barca winning vs Madrid in the league match in few months. Madrid will slip up eventually, they've been scraping by in some easy games of late, namely relying on that babyface Callejón to get them out of a mess again Mallorca after conceding in the first half.

But Barca are certainly with their fare share of problems, namely the injuries up top.

more news, each source worse than the previous one

Daily Mirror: Chelsea will walk away from the Gary Cahill deal if the Bolton defender does not say yes on Thursday ... QPR will sign Chelsea centre-back Alex for £3 million and are also keen on Nedum Onuoha and Wayne Bridge ... Sir Alex Ferguson has told Darron Gibson he is free to leave and could join Everton for £2.5 million ... Swansea are desperate to sign Bristol City striker Nicky Maynard and are offering Leroy Lita and Stephen Dobbie in part-exchange ... Manchester City are looking to relieve Manchester United of Paul Pogba, who's out of contract at the end of the season and rejected an extension recently after, Fergie suggested, receiving some bad advice from his agent. Arsenal, Inter and AC Milan are also apparently having a think about signing the 18-year-old.

Daily Mail: AC Milan have offered Manchester City the chance to take Germany Under-20 midfielder Alexander Merkel as part of the Carlos Tevez deal ... Tottenham have bid £7.5 million for Blackburn defender Chris Samba after QPR expressed an interest ... Galatasaray are ready to offer £8 million for Dirk Kuyt ... Bayern Munich are being linked with Dimitar Berbatov ... Newcastle are attempting to secure first option on Crystal Palace starlet Wilfried Zaha ... Everton are closing in on a £1 million deal for Manchester United midfielder Darron Gibson.

The Sun: Chelsea and Manchester United are battling it out for River Plate’s £8 million rated 17-year-old winger Lucas Ocampos ... Mario Balotelli could extend his Manchester City contract as agent Mino Raiola thinks that, at £50 million-plus, he is too “big” for Italian football ... Arsenal defender Ignasi Miquel could make a loan move to the Championship ... Leeds United have agreed a deal to sign Columbus Crew winger Robbie Rogers but still have to secure a work permit ... Tottenham could beat West Ham to the signing of Evian striker Yannick Sagbo.

Daily Telegraph: Manchester United have put hotly-tipped 18-year-old Ravel Morrison up for sale having "lost patience with his repeated truancy from training" and Newcastle are readying another bid after seeing a £500k offer rejected last week ... Spurs are the clear favourites to sign Chris Samba.

I don't think that high speed rail article is all that interesting--oh, and, it probably isn't the proper thread.

for those that didn't see yesterday's revista, there was an interesting discussion on Ronaldo's performances in big matches and the reaction from RM fans. Also brought up was his record from set pieces, every one of which he seems to take himself:

i'm curious to know what the RM fans think here...should be interesting if he still doesn't manage to perform tonight :p
