i'll say that serie a is the best league, theres never a huge gap in points between teams and its entertaining to watch inter,roma,juve,palermo,napoli,milan,udinese, fiorentina etc.

I really wanted falcao to go to inter/chelsea, im still a fan of atletico and without a doubt they are now title contenders. falcao's scored 5 (6 if you count a perfectly legal goal that was called off) in 2 games plus the game winner in the europa league match, he is the best striker in the world.

Was good in the mid 90s when we had a live Italian football match each week in the UK. Zidane :bowdown:

Serie A has been good so far this season. Milan and Inter both look pretty crappy. It may be Juventus' year.

It is good this year; I'm not sure Juve is the team though. I think there are 3, maybe 4 teams equal or better than Juve. It's still way too early to tell, but I think Inter, Milan, Juve, Napoli, maybe Roma, Udinese, Palermo, Lazio will all be there at the end. It will be interesting; Inter have a new coach, Milan is old, Juve is young, Lazio will grow, Roma is confusing, Napoli may be too arrogant, Udinese and Palermo may not have enough fire-power.
Not to say any 1 league is the "best", but as the EPL was founded in 1992-93 I looked at the top 5 Euro leagues since that year, plus the well-balanced Brazilian Série A. The criticism of the EPL as being very top-loaded (the ‘Big 3’) and not great in CL, etc. is certainly true. Really just 1 dominant team. La Liga is also very top-heavy, with 2 teams, as is the Bundesliga (1.5 teams). Serie A is divided among 3 teams. Ligue 1 has the most different winners, but are terrible in CL, etc. Brasilian Série A has the most variety, and those teams also do very well in international club competitions. Obviously not. It was just fun research.
For some reason I had always thought Santos, Flamengo, Corinthians were always dominant, and I was surprised at how many different league winners there have been since 92-93.

yay, United step on the Stoke banana peel (...like everyone else it seems). Good game.

It helped that United were playing their last choice strikers. But that will happen sometimes due to injury or cards, and clubs need to take advantage of it. Credit to Stoke for doing so.

Silly mistake. At least he had a nice looking goal and enough confidence to take that shot. I still think Chelsea should have bought Aguero over him last year.

oh well, not in my book. italy played a great tournament, so they deserved it.

while, he was on the peak, i was rather not interested in football. so, i'm not the one to judge about his abilities. i never liked him, though. the headkick wasn't surprising at all. fourteen reds in his career is close to world record.

italy is my team, so everything went right, sorry.
