1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Cissé just scored possibly the best goal in the EPL this DECADE.

    Crazy goal by Cissé.

Hala Madrid - great season, Embowafa and Shah. Can't wait to do it again. That Messi goal was sweet, and what a fantastic mark to break Müller's record.

Really want Newcastle to edge out Spurs for CL.

:slayer: Thanks, mang. It's RM fans like you that makes me not so angry to lose the Liga this year.

    Visca Barca.

congratulations on reclaiming the title (you fascist!)

at least the pichichi will come down to the wire

and i want both to oust the Arsenal in my devious plot to have them miss out on CL, the $, and 4th, thereby giving huge reason to fire Wenger and move to a new chapter and begin the necessary wholesale changes.

i think you got confused, though, I'm not through and through Barca. I'm an Arsenal maniac, and I hated 2006 most, but also the 2010 and 2011 seasons sucked ! But I do love watching Barca play, not least because at some point in time Arsenal also had freeflowing football not too dissimilar from theirs. There was also a connection once upon a time, with a handful of Arsenal players moving to catalunya so it was fun keeping up with them. And of course I don't like Madrid or some of the more politically-charged fans, it was always funny to see Oleguer and (can't remember his name now but there was a madrid player who used to write for a fascist publication lol). but yeah i guess in the end if i had to identify with one club aside from Arsenal it would be Barca as I've been keeping up with them for quite some while through thick and thin :p

    this was interesting read

Great goal - much like Totti's against Samp a few years ago...

^ Not nearly as impressive. It is easier to power one in while the keeper is sleeping.

Not as impressive, but still a great goal from Montero.

West Ham win 2-0 at Cardiff, pretty much in the playoff final.

    Baa baa.

The keeper was not sleeping. It was a perfectly placed, top corner ball at bullet speed. It would have beaten anyone. The Galaxy defense should have not given him that much space, but who expects a perfect strike like that from so far out.

I don't know if it was better than the amazing Cisse goal, but it was the best goal I have ever seen in person.

Thinking of getting a ST next season. Can only make Saturday games at the moment but I should be able to sell it on through the supporters club for the rest. £582 to watch the league winners WGUAFC.

That would look awesome, but what on earth then happens to the Bridge?

Just saw this announcement from Etihad Stadium:

At the conclusion of next season, ManCity is switching sponsorships from Umbro to Nike (Everton will be jumping as well from that Le Cuoq brand, or whatever it is), to set up four Nike "silos" in the Premiere League - United, Arsenal, City, Everton.

Here is what it supposed to look like.

    Amazing. Also amazingly expensive.

comparative sizes: Bridge, Battersea, Emirates (?). You can see how it could work.
