The mailed me a catalog and I took a quick look through it. Just about everything in there looked garish and tacky.

So presumably this is a fair summary such that no one else need look at it?

It's pretty low-rent stuff, probably on par with Men's Wearhouse. Maybe a tiny cut above MW, but then, I have no MW experience on which to draw for the comparison.

If that's how it looked in the catalog what would make you think that it would look (or wear) any better in person?

I have a PF belt which has worn very well over the years. But that is the sum of my experience with the brand, and I think I bought it at SYMS.

That's because it is. They try to lure in guys on a budget (or cheap guys) shirt deals, like 4 for $99 but their shirts are shit. A friend of mine bought some, so I am telling you from experience. Their ties are generally hideous..

okay, enough.

Their shirts are garbage... I ordered sum a couple of years ago, and by the second laundering they were literally falling apart! I toss their catlogs into the garbage, to join their shirts.

PF wool trousers on sale (which is most of the time) are a decent value, IMHO, but then again I'm very hard wearing on trousers.

I like how these fake brands come up with similar sounding names to established houses/brands.

I bought four of their shirts on a promotion a decade ago. I wasn't impressed by the quality, even for that price.
