Note- this is NOT by any means meant to bash herms/he-shes. I have absolutely no problem with them, they are people too, kind of, but my situation is making men and women shun away from me, which, as a non-hermaphroditic male, is something I don't want.

It seems as though the rumor has been passing through the school I go to that I am a herm. Apparently I dress straight, act like a woman, and do manly stuff. On a normal school day I wear a skirt, an A&F polo, and Crocs, just FYI. Now I thought it had been blatanly obviously that I am non-hermaphroditic (I mean come on people!!!), but apparently not. Seeing how things are overblown in high school this has been affecting my relationships with other kids and is overall growing to be a problem that needs to be fixed. Non-surgically.

Any solutions?

You should join a Hermaphrodite coalition of some sort. Band together, educate the layman, and spread love and wisdom.

Here's a site you should check out. www.hermes.com

Don't assume you need a solution. Wallis Simpson was rumored to be a hermaphrodite. She got the King of England to abdicate his throne, just so he could marry her: an American divorcee with two living husbands.

who does she look like (my first thought was patrick swayze but she also reminds me of an american football coach whose name escapes me) and what is she doing to him in that picture?

matadorpoeta, Wallis was said to be proficient in the Oriental bead technique. Might be rumor, of course. But she must have had something . . . because it wasn't her looks. The Duchess of Windsor engaged in a rather public 'fling' of sorts with Jimmy Donahue, multi-millionaire socialite cousin to Woolworth heiress, Barbara Hutton. From what I've read, Wallis was disrespectful to the Duke during numerous public outings. Perhaps she resented him for not being able to 'put her over,' as Queen of England.

She did dress well, though.
